1. Morning Transfer & San Donato in Poggio After an 8:45 AM pick-up in Florence, we drive comfortably into the Chianti Classico region. Our first stop is the picture-perfect village of San Donato in Poggio, where you can enjoy a morning cappuccino and take your first photos of Tuscany.
2. Castellina in Chianti & Bike Fitting We then head to Castellina in Chianti to explore its medieval square and historic arched passages. Here, we fit you with your bicycle and safety equipment.
3. Cycling Through Chianti : the biking portion follows scenic secondary roads chosen for their beauty, quiet atmosphere and accessibility. This is not a performance ride. The pace is relaxed and designed to allow time for photos, conversations, vineyard views, spontaneous moments, enjoying the countryside itself. Our support van always remains nearby and E-bikes are available for guests seeking an even more comfortable experience.
4. Wine, Stories & Local Producers Throughout the day, guests visit carefully selected wineries and family-run producers in the heart of Chianti Classico. Rather than rushing through large commercial tastings, the experience focuses on understanding the land, meeting local people, discovering Tuscan wine culture naturally and personally.
5. Medieval Villages Along The Way : one of the most beautiful aspects of the day is the constant feeling of moving through living Tuscany. Small medieval villages like San Donato in Poggio and Castellina in Chianti become natural pauses along the route rather than tourist checklists. The biking portion ends in Monteriggioni, the Walled Castle. Time for a brief visit to this last amazing hamlet, before leaving by van to the last winery.
6. The Wine Experience Lunch The final winery stop includes cellar visit and Tuscan lunch paired with wines, Extra-Virgin Olive oil and local specialties. • What happens if it rains? Our support van provides flexibility in case of changing weather conditions. In severe weather situations, we always work with guests to find the best possible solution.
